Kantina is a simple way to plan weekly meals cooked by local restaurants. Restaurants offer incredible deals when the customer places an order for the entire week. This restaurant-customer deal has been around for decades in Miami and other cities where Latino culture is prominent. Despite the popularity of this service (called Cantinas) in the community, there was no platform that concentrated all restaurant offers and made it easy for customers to order from their phones. From this opportunity Kantina was born, currently in the city of Miami.

The company's main function is to connect customers with restaurants. Both are part of the company's customer segment. Kantina is a multi-site platform that offers, among other things, a technological solution. On the one hand, it allows customers complete their orders from an app on their phone, and on the other hand, it allows restaurants to promote their offerings in a tool that provides marketing and advertising at no cost. The revenues of Kantina come from commissions on orders and delivery fees.
The company has two key resources:
· A mobile app that connects customers and restaurants.
· A web platform where restaurants manage their information and offers.
Founding this company with five other colleagues, developing the product, putting it to use in the community, achieving growth, among other things, has been very enriching for me. My role in this project is mainly as a problem solver. I have collaborated in areas involving Brand Strategy, Service Design, Customer Experience, Data Analysis, Management, User Experience, Product Design, among others.
